Congratulations Sean Lee

A number of TSS swimmers have recorded notable performances across the 2026 season, achieving results at school, regional, and state levels, with several progressing into representative teams.

Sean Lee has established himself as a competitive breaststroke swimmer within the Queensland school system. At the Queensland School State Championships (13 years), he secured bronze medals in both the 100m and 200m breaststroke. He was also part of the gold medal-winning 200m medley relay team alongside Owen Tseng and Jasper Ward. His performances contributed to selection in the South Coast Regional Team.

Congratulations Archie Pope

Grant Amis has delivered consistent results in sprint butterfly events. He placed third in the 50m butterfly at the GPS Championships and won the same event at the Queensland Sprint Championships. At the Queensland School State Championships, he progressed to the final of the 50m butterfly, finishing fifth. His season progression now turns towards the National Age Championships in April.

Congratulations Jasper Ward

Archie Pope, new to TSS from Grafton, has shown immediate impact across backstroke and freestyle events.

He achieved third place in the 100m backstroke at the 2026 Gold Coast Championships and has recorded consistent personal best improvements in the 50m backstroke, 100m backstroke, and 100m freestyle. His performances have led to selection in both the 2026 Hinterland Swim Team and the South Coast Team for the Queensland State Representative School Sport pathway.

Jasper Ward has demonstrated strong development in sprint backstroke and butterfly events. At the Swimming Gold Coast Championships (March 2026), he set two age-group records in the 12 years 50m backstroke and 50m butterfly. He also contributed to the gold medal-winning 200m medley relay team at the Queensland School State Championships alongside Sean Lee and Owen Tseng.

Collectively, these performances reflect progression across multiple age groups and disciplines, with athletes achieving success in individual events, relay contributions, and representative team selection within the Queensland pathway.
